Congratulations to Jim Whitton on receiving the
Tarrant County Bar Association Professionalism Award
The Brackett & Ellis School Law Section is honored to announce that longtime school lawyer Jim Whitton will be recognized on May 1, 2024, by the Tarrant County Bar Association with its annual Professionalism Award. The award is presented in recognition of inspiring role models who display outstanding professional conduct and who are respected by their peers. Jim has practiced School Law for more than 40 years, and is well-known as a gentlemanly lawyer who seeks to resolve issues in a professional manner. He has honorably served and helped guide many independent school districts, private schools, and their administrators and school boards with his calm manner, common sense, good humor, and excellent advice.
